Mengi Yay has launched the 35.5-metre NB97 superyacht Seastar at its Tuzla based yard. during the COVID-19 times.
35m Mengi Yay VYD Studio Sea Star launch
The yacht has launched on May 12, the yacht features a wooden hull and composite superstructure. The exterior has been designed by VYD Studio while the interior was designed by BTA Design. Powered by twin CAT C32 1900 HP engines, Seastar has a top speed of 22 knots. Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests across a master cabin and four additional guest cabins. The crew quarters meanwhile includes three staff cabins. Seastar remains on track for delivery by the end of May 2020. Sea Star is currently underway of sea trials in terms of speed and comprehensive performance test.
